God, the Holy One, says, “Can you compare me to anyone? Is anyone equal to me?” Isaiah 40:25 ICB

The incomparability of God speaks of His uniqueness and distinguishing, unequal, unparalleled, matchless and peerless nature, which our text reveals about Him.

Beloved, God’s incomparability proves He’s in an exclusive class of His own. He does incomprehensible, unimaginable and unparalleled things in unparalleled manner. His incomparable nature makes everything possible to and nothing impossible with Him. Faith is a display of unparalleled trust, which activates His incomparable and unparalleled power that stops at nothing on behalf of His people. Unparalleled trust in God guarantees unparalleled actions. Those who’re tired and weak that trust Him, He incomparably gives strength and more power to the point that they will run without needing rest and walk without becoming tired. Unparalleled trust in Him is only possible through the Word.

These believers have been tested by great troubles, and they are very poor. But their great joy caused them to be very generous in their giving. 2 Corinthians 8:2 ERV

Generosity is the state of being generously kind, understanding and not selfish, a willingness to give to others to enhance their state. Our text reveals it’s secret.

Generosity isn’t attractive but is least cherished, because it leads to the immediate reduction of personal possessions which everyone abhors. However, generosity is the only way for increase and abundance because good measures pressed down, shaken together and running over, can only come out of and is experienced only through it. Generosity is a product of relationship with Jesus, it doesn’t flow out of abundance of riches, but abundance of great joy; the joy of knowing you and everything you’re and have belongs to Jesus. 6This joy leads to doing God’s will and delights in seeing other lives being positively affected, even when physically poor and in great need. Do you have this joy?

PRAYER: Lord God, give me the grace to always understand that I and everything I have belongs to You and where entrusted to me for enhancing the life of others. As I generously give myself and all that I have to You and Your cause, meeting the need of others, I shall never experience any lack in Jesus name.

After they had left, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. The angel said to him, “Get up, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, because Herod intends to search for the child and kill him.” Matthew 2:13 GW

Protection and preservation is the state of being kept from damage, danger, destruction, harm, loss or injury. Our text reveals God does this for His children.

Beloved, challenges, persecutions and trials always come to the believer, however before and when they do come, God always make provisions for the protection and preservation of His people through His Word, which is called a way of escape. Experiencing the preservation and protection of God is dependent on discovering, understanding and living in obedience to it, following the way of escape. Joseph and Mary escaped sorrow and pain of loss of child and Jesus untimely death because Joseph trusted and obeyed the Lord. If you choose also to trust and obey the Lord, you’ll always be saved from unnecessary pains, sorrow and suffering.

Today and always, I experience Your all-round preservation and protection in Jesus name Amen.

If we say, “We have fellowship with Him,” yet we walk in darkness, we are lying and are not practicing the truth.1 John 1:6 HCSB

Fellowship is a companionship, a friendly relationship and a joining together of persons. Our text reveals humans can experience this with God.

Beloved, fellowship with God means sharing His life. This sharing of the life of God transforms because it brings the laying down of your imperfections, limitations and sinfulness for His nature and becoming like Him. Fellowship with God is impossible without a revelation, revelation is impossible without knowledge and there can’t be knowledge without declaration or proclamation and teaching of the Word. Whoever is in fellowship with God must not only live in light, but also become the light and infect others with it, because light cannot exist in isolation Whoever walks in light lacks nothing good because there’s absolutely no lack in God.

But Stephen was full of the Holy Spirit. He looked into heaven, saw God’s glory, and Jesus in the position of authority that God gives. Acts 7:55 GW

Containers are meant to carry contents hence cannot be empty. Our text reveals a container, gets it’s significance, value and worth from its content.

Beloved, a container derives it’s life from its content. At creation humans were designed to be containers and carriers. Whatever a container carries is what it’s full of and whatever it’s full of, determines its ability, attitude, value and worth. The man formed by God was useless and valueless until it was filled with, became a carrier and container of the breath of God. When you’re full of the Holy Spirit, your vision changes, you can receive open heavens, see and radiate God’s glory and heavenly joy, as well as be loving and forgiving like Stephen. However when you’re not, then you’ll be full of ignorance, infuriation, bitterness and murderous rage like the Jewish leaders. You’re designed to be a carrier of the Holy Spirit and when you do, you’ll lack nothing good.

In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind. And the light shines on in the darkness, but the darkness has not mastered it. John 1:4,5 NET

Light dispels darkness, gives life, guides and reveals hidden things. Our text showcases the power of the Light of the world.

Beloved, light can be hidden, shielded or veiled, but it can’t be stopped from shinning. Until it’s unveiled it cannot be known and until it’s known, it can’t be encountered and experienced. It takes the knowledge of the light to unveil and encounter it. Every encounter with the light brings about a dramatic change and accomplishment of all the foregoing. Whenever light is believed in and received, it’s dramatic and transforming power is experienced. Only an announcement, proclamation or publication brings faith in The Light. The Light of the world, sustains all things by Himself. Everyone that encounters Him, becomes light. Amazingly, He’s awaiting to be encountered and to dispel every darkness in and around you.

“`Praying you and yours do have a fruitful, fulfilling and merry Christmas!“`

Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock. You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth. Psalms 80:1 ESV

To shine forth is to reveal the splendor, radiant glory and greatness. Our text shows the Lord does this to deliver and save His own.

Beloved, shining forth reveals the great power of God. What is revealed is what has been in existence but not displayed and known. Until there’s a revealing of the unknown splendor of God, it won’t be experienced and until it’s experienced, everything remains the same. Once it’s revealed, deliverance, salvation and restoration follows. God shines forth only when He sees the need for it and the need for it stems from the sordid state and situation of His people. Sin breeds His anger, anger blocks His view of His people’s situation and a blocked view inhibits and prevents the display His splendor. Every unpleasant and unwanted situation in your life will change once He shines forth on your behalf. He’s just waiting to do that!

PRAYER: O God, the Invincible Warrior, today, as I repent of whatever way I’ve angered You, shine forth and smile on me, so I’ll be delivered from every unpleasant and unwanted situation in my life and be restored in Jesus name Amen.

“You are blessed for believing that the Lord would keep His promise to you.” Luke 1:45 GW

A fulfilled life is a blessed life. Blessing is an approval, encouragement and help from God that brings fulfillment and happiness. Our text reveals how to experience it.

Beloved, whoever receives God’s blessing receives His assistance, encouragement and approval with its accompanying fruitfulness, fulfillment and happiness. Whoever is blessed, lacks absolutely nothing good, because God’s blessing carries His personality and presence. Whoever His presence is it, His blessing rests on and whoever He blesses, is always exceptionally honored and victorious. God’s blessing rests only on those that please Him, He can only be pleased through faith and whoever pleases Him receives His blessings. There’s a Word He’s spoken concerning your case, discovering and believing it is your key to fulfillment!

PRAYER: Help me dear Lord, not only to be diligent in discovering Your Word concerning me, at every moment and in every situation, but also to believe it no matter how impossible it may seem. Right now I believe Your Word concerning me and I’m blessed in Jesus name Amen.

Say to the nations, “The Lord rules as king!” The earth stands firm; it cannot be moved. He will judge people fairly. Psalm 96:10 GW

Good Kings exists for and always seek the protection and promotion of their subjects through decrees and statues. Our text reveals the Lord as the King.

Beloved, decrees and statues made by a king must be obeyed for the desired protection and promotion of his subjects to be accomplished. Every disobedience to them must be judged and fiercely punished so obedience will be achieved. By announcing to the nations that the Lord reigns, the Psalmist means He’s the Great King above all the earth that cannot be dethroned and every nation and creation comes under His rule. Giving the Lord glory activates His saving power and He’s given glory only by obedience. Do you desire to experience His promoting and protecting power in any area of your life, then be obedient to what He’s said concerning that issue.

PRAYER: My Lord and my God, as I give you glory through my obedience, I trample under feet whatever stands on my way and I experience Your protective and promoting power in every area of my life in Jesus name, Amen.

Even though an army sets up camp against me, my heart will not be afraid. Even though a war breaks out against me, I will still have confidence in the Lord. Psalm 27:3 GW

Confidence is the consciousness of one’s powers or of reliance on one’s circumstances, a belief that someone or something is good or reliable. Our text reveals the Psalmist’s unchanging confidence.

Beloved, confidence spells trust, trust determines action and action spells experience. We’re daily confronted by things that not only threatens but tends to take away our confidence in life, such as physical or spiritual battles, wars, sickness, changes and chances of life. When confronted by an army of evil doers and even in the midst of war, when mountains totter and oceans roar, the Psalmist wasn’t afraid, but staked his confidence in God and overcome. Peter walked in the waters and was saved from sinking all because of his confidence in God. Whatever that confronts you today and always, you’ll overcome if you’ve unchanging confidence and trust in God.
