A proof is that which establishes and compels the acceptance of the validity of a truth or fact. Our text reveals love must be proven.

Beloved, love can be claimed, expressed and professed, however until it’s proven with cogent actions that compels acceptance, then it cannot be established. Every nonverbal expression of love is not true love, but as true as this may be, every verbally expressed love must be backed with tangible actions. Assenting this Jesus said, if you love Me you must obey My commands, which includes sacrificially feeding His lambs. Love is transferable and infectious, hence you end up loving whoever your love loves. Love cannot be real without transference, therefore feeding Jesus lamb is an expression, measure, proof and transference of your love for Him. How well you feed His lamb proves how well you love Jesus.

Grace upon grace!
