And this she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And it came out that very hour. Acts 16:18 ESV

Anger is a strong display of emotional displeasure, dissatisfaction and antagonism. Our text reveals it’s beauty.

Beloved, talking about the beautify of anger seems a bit odd because very often than not, anger usually leads to sin and its works are destructive and negative. However the truth remains, anger when properly channeled and controlled is very beautiful and fruitful. Anger is like money, a very good servant but terrible master. It takes only anger to accomplish certain things, ask Jesus and Paul. It takes the displeasure and dissatisfaction of anger given by the Holy Spirit to detest sin and resist the devil, detesting sin to disassociate with, triumph and overcome it. Where and what anger is channeled on makes the world of difference. Channel yours properly and enjoy its beauty and dividends today.

Grace upon grace!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, may I always be filled with passionate anger against every sin, works of the flesh and anything unpleasant to You. I choose to always dissociate myself from them, so I’ll always be able to please You in Jesus name.
