For they had previously seen Trophimus the Ephesian with him in the city, and they supposed that Paul had brought him into the temple. Acts 21:29 ESV

Supposition is believing something is true without any proof and acting on such belief. Our text reveals it’s danger.

Beloved, assumptions and suppositions are always based on perceptions, permutations and probabilities, which are usually unreliable and wrong. Very many irreparable damages, disservice and havoc have been done to humanity through assumptions and suppositions. Assumptions stem out of lack of knowledge and are built on faulty foundation, therefore always lead to wrong actions and sins which are very destructive. Knowledge which saves from assumptions can only be gotten by inspiration, inspiration by the Word and the Word through connection and quality time with Jesus. Until you’ve knowledge, you’ll never overcome the bait of assumptions and it’s disaster.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, as I connect and spend quality time with the Lord Jesus through the Word, fill me with every knowledge I need to keep me free from the bait of assumptions and suppositions plus it’s destructiveness in Jesus name.

For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. Psalms 107:9 ESV

Satisfaction is the act, sate and quality of providing what is wanted, desired or needed. Our text reveals how it’s attained.

Everyone desires to be satisfied, filled with good things and not left empty, however only a very few do experience this state of utter contentment. Every human need is classified either as thirst or hunger and it’s only God who can satisfy the thirsty and fill up the hungry with good things. No matter how hopelessly thirsty and hungry you are, a call to the Lord is all you need to be saved and transferred from your state of darkness, gloom and misery to that of satisfaction and filling up with abundant goodness. Calling on God when hopelessly in need of either physical or spiritual satisfaction, when lacking anything good, is an act of faith and display of trust, which He’ll never ignore.

Until what he had said came to pass, the Word of the Lord tested him. Psalms 105:19 ESV

Testing is the procedure and period for proving a something. Our text reveals there’s always a testing time to every promise.

Beloved, testing time is a painful period for the procedures of preparation and proof. Testing time requires much patience because it may seem unproductive, unfruitful and wasteful, but it produces proof for the fulfillment of a promise. Divine promises are fulfilled only on the premise of proof of confidence and trust which testing time best produces. Promises and prophecies are never fulfilled until the appointed time; testing time is therefore a waiting time for the production of patience needed in preparation of a person for the appointed time and position. Testing time is a waiting time but certainly not a wasted time, allow it to prepare you so you’ll get promoted.

PRAYER: Lord God, I receive grace to understand my testing time and submit to its preparations and production of patience and faith in me. Having been fully tested and prepared, I receive today, the fulfillment of my promises and prophecies as well as promotion to the next level in Jesus name.

And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” Mark 9:23 ESV

Life is the sum total of an individual’s choices. Our text reveals everything, including faith, depends on choice.

Beloved, everything about you is a product of your choices. Faith is both a choice to believe and not to believe at the same time –believing what you want and not believing what you don’t, irrespective of whatever you see, feel and hear. Choices reflect an individual’s wants and desires. Life’s challenges, obstacles and storms are never an issue of if the Lord wants or can take them away, but if you can believe Him to. It doesn’t matter how long your challenge or situation have lasted, how enormous, insurmountable and impossible it may be, or even what everyone around you is feeling or experiencing, but once you choose to believe, and keep believing, it’ll certainly fizzle away. You cannot believe and choose what you’ve never heard about.

And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying. Acts 19:6 ESV

Holy Spirit infilling is the reception of Divine enablement for every Divine assignment. Our text reveals it’s principle.

Beloved, divine assignments are not only very difficult but humanly impossible. Since they must be done, it therefore takes a transformation into and transference of Divine power which are only possible through Christ. The transference which marks your confirmation as a Christian, enables performance of extraordinary signs and wonders, speaking in tongues, prophesying, healing the sick and raising the dead. Until Divine power is transferred, your life will be empty, pointless and powerless, ask Peter, Paul, Cornelius, the Samaritan brethren and every Saint past and present. You must be filled, continue to be filled and led by the Holy Spirit to know excellence!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I cry out to You to be continually filled with and led by Your Holy Spirit, so that my life won’t be pointless and powerless but every divine assignment given me will be successfully accomplished in Jesus name!

For truly, I say to you, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to Christ will by no means lose his reward. Mark 9:41 ESV

Water is normally one of the commonest things in life. Our text reveals even a cup of it is very valuable and rewardable.

Beloved, reward is a reaction to an action as well as the blessing or curse that comes out of an act. God doesn’t take any act of kindness for granted, but notes, values and rewards every bit of it. This principle of the Divine economics, isn’t dependent on the product but on the consumer; –the value of every act of kindness in God’s sight is directly proportional to the value He places on the recipient. Your value and rating in the Divine economy is solely dependent on your relationship with Christ. Similarly, acts of kindness attracts far better rewards when given to a person in Christ, –whatever is done to a person in Christ is done to Christ. Keep being kind.

PRAYER: Lord God, may I always see those in need of my kindness and never relent in showing it to anyone in Christ. Hello me not to consider any act of kindness insignificant, that I may continually receive Your reward in Jesus name.

Therefore, when the Lord heard, He was full of wrath; a fire was kindled against Jacob; His anger rose against Israel, Psalms 78:21 ESV

Generally sin is unacceptable to God. Our text reveals that iniquity provokes His wrath.

Beloved, iniquity which is often associated with cravings, is unfairness and gross injustice, a refusal to acknowledge a fact and denial of the truth. Often this denial and refusal to acknowledge the truth is lack of trust and vote of no confidence in God, therefore an affront and a challenge to His supremacy and sovereignty. Every act of unbelief and lack of trust is an iniquity that makes God furious and provokes the fire of His wrath to burn, even against His elect. The provocation of the fire of His wrath brings destruction, and the only way to escape it is through trusting and believing in His ability to care for you whatever your situation!

Nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. Acts 17:25 ESV

Service is an assistance or helpful act rendered to someone. Our text reveals serving God.

Beloved, services are naturally rendered to and for the benefit of those who need it. However serving God is never for His benefit, because there’s absolutely nothing He can’t do for Himself and nothing He needs from anyone –He’s simply self-sufficient and All-sufficient. Serving God has always been for our benefit, since we’ve no life apart from Him, we live, move and exist in Him. Furthermore, He’s set a day for the judgement and reward of services we rendered, therefore we should always give Him nothing but the best. Your best is your all in all, you can’t give your best except by choice and God cannot be served except with the best. Whoever wants God’s best must give Him the best because He’s the Best.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, today and always, whatever the cost, I choose to serve You and give You my best because You’re the Best. I receive the best from You in return in Jesus name!

The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, Acts 17:24 ESV

A dwelling place is an abode, a meeting point and a basic need of every living being. Our text reveals the dwelling place of the Lord!

Beloved, a dwelling place is a resting place where everything about a being is found. It must meet the comfort and satisfactory desires of the dweller. There must be a mutual agreement between the dweller and the dwelling place before there’ll be occupation. God’s dwelling place, home and carrier of His presence isn’t man-made it’s the heart of men. The Psalmist said, when Judah became His dwelling place, every sea that sees it flees, every mountain and little hills that meets it skips like rams and lambs respectively. Once you make your heart the Lord’s dwelling place, same will happen as every impossibility will become possible and obstacles will crumble.

PRAYER: Dear God, I purify my heart today and make it your perpetual dwelling place. Whatever have before now been an impossibility must become possible, every obstacle and opposition must crumble and flee in Jesus name.

And the king said, “Is there not still someone of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God to him?” Ziba said to the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan; he is crippled in his feet.” 2 Samuel 9:3 ESV

The kindness of God is His affection, benevolence, favor, gentle nature and mercy. Our text reveals it’s possible for a mortal.

Beloved, God’s kindness desires to do good things and bring unmerited help and happiness to people. Whoever comes into close contact with God receives His nature and cannot help but bring unmerited help and happiness to others even at the detriment of self. A measure and reflection of a person’s closeness to God is the degree of God’s kindness he has. The kindness of God though unmerited, always do have some precursors or triggers, therefore you cannot experience God’s kindness unless there’s a direct or indirect contact, connection, covenant with Him and confession [crying out] for mercies. There’s divine kindness awaiting your connection and collection today.

Grace upon grace!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I cry out to You today and position myself for collection of divine kindness. I decree that every “Ziba” needed for my connection to and collection of divine kindness must make himself available to You in Jesus name.
