What can I do is a question portraying desperation and one at the brink of frustration. Our text reveals the antidote for frustration.

As mortals, life will always offer circumstances and situations beyond your control either from within or without. These circumstances and situations will either bring frustration and stagnation or expansion and progression. Reacting, will mean proffering a solution, whereas responding, will mean going to God for it. Every solution you’ll proffer will both be ineffective, inadequate and temporary. Right now, you’re either in the midst of a life challenge, coming out of one or about getting into one. Whatever the situation, unless you learn to ask what can I do Lord, He’ll not direct you and unless He directs you, you’ll remain frustrated and stagnated, because you won’t have an adequate, effective and permanent solution!

PRAYER: Lord may I never seek any remedy but always turn to You when confronted by life’s circumstances and challenges in Jesus name.
