For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.” Mark 12:44 ESV

To provoke is to stir to action which could be positive or negative. Our text reveals one of Jesus’ positive provocations.

Beloved, assuredly every action of God is a reaction or response to a human action or provocation. Negative actions provokes negative responses, whereas positive actions provokes positive responses. Invariably, you’re the denominator or determining factor to God’s attitude towards you. Your sacrifice is tied to your provocation of God. Your degree of sacrifice equals your degree of provocation of God, your degree of provocation of God, equals your degree of response from and experience with Him. God will surely do nothing independent of your provocation, therefore provoke Him to the action of your choice on your behalf today!
