I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. Psalms 146:2 ESV

Praise acknowledges, appreciates, extols, and honors. Our text reveals this as a perpetually eternal debt to God because of His immutability.

Beloved, whoever you appreciate and honor, you praise, whoever you praise, favors you, whoever favors you, holds back nothing from you and whoever holds back nothing from you, receives more praises. God’s praises is perpetual because His promise to help and save those who trust Him never ends. He holds back nothing good from those who praise Him. When help ceases, praise ends, because praise is a product of promise and help. The promise and help from every other quarters can cease and fail, but God’s promise of help and salvation to those who trust Him never does. Are you bereft of God’s blessings and favors, ever desiring them, then praise Him, because praise activates and releases them!
