Do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah, as on the day at Massah in the wilderness, Psalms 95:8 ESV

Hardening the heart is stubbornly turning a deaf ear to instructions, corrections and warnings. Our text reveals it’s consequence.

Beloved, turning a deaf ear to instructions, corrections and warnings from the Lord is the evidence of contention and testing. Contention and testing is a direct result of doubt and unbelief. Doubt, unbelief and contention naturally leads to disobedience. Unbelief is the evidence of lack of trust, lack of trust is a refusal to believe what is heard; because you cannot doubt, contend or not believe what you don’t hear. Every word, command and instruction of the Lord is loaded with blessings for you, therefore, whether understood or not, must be obeyed, else the reverse which is curse and destruction sets in. Obey the Lord today at all cost!
