For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. Isaiah 60:2 ESV

Being distinguished is to be marked out, separated and made different from others. Our text reveals what brings spiritual distinction.

Beloved, light in darkness brings distinction as it makes whoever and wherever it’s on uncommon. Light connotes the end of darkness, ushers in the dawn and attracts everything favorable and good. Light is a product of the Lord’s glory, whereas glory is a product of His presence. The Lord’s presence is a product of righteousness and righteousness a product of faith. Light can only attract when it’s seen, it can only be seen when not hidden, it can only not be hidden when it shines and it can only shine when a deliberate choice to arise from hiding is made. This choice can only be made when revelation knowledge is gained, and revelation knowledge can only be gained through the reception of the Word. Receive the Word today, shine and attract favor!
