But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Ephesians 4:7 ESV

Grace is a special gift of Christ showing His generosity. Our text reveals this has been given to all.

Beloved, this special gift of Christ called grace enables, empowers and makes all things possible. Whatever God wants and whatever we ordinarily can’t, grace makes possible. Grace not only enables but distinguishes, actually no one can be what God wants him to be except by using grace. People are marked and measured by God according to their level of usage of grace. Grace brings faith, faith brings the nature of God and the nature of God bestows whatever God has. If there’s anything lacking in your life, it’s not because God has given or doesn’t want to give, but it’s simply because you’ve not used the grace He gave you to access it! Right now everything will change if you do.

PRAYERS: O Lord my God, I repent of not using the gift of grace available to me. I hereby activate it and excel by it in Jesus name.

One of the men lying there had been sick for 38 years. Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been sick for a very long time. So he asked him, “Do you want to be well?” John 5:5‭-‬6 ERV

Being well is a state of equilibrium, peace, abundance and lack of nothing good. Our text reveals this as the Lord’s unending desire for you.

Beloved, everything was well from Creation to the Fall. Lack and sickness both physical and spiritual came as a result of the Fall. Jesus came to take away sin and all its consequences. Whatever that’s lacking or is unwell in and around your life, He sees and is ready to take away and turn around, if you’ll believe in Him. There must first be a dissatisfaction with the status quo, a desire for a change, and an active display of this desire before there can be a change and healing. Until by faith in His Word you try the impossible, impossibility won’t become possible, nothing will change, and your life will remain the same, ask the paralytic.

PRAYER: Lord may I always hear, believe and act on Your Word no matter how difficult or impossible it may seem in Jesus name

Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. Look, the Devil is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will have affliction for 10 days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. Revelation 2:10 HCSB

Faithfulness is a state of constant and consistent affection, allegiance or loyalty. Our text reveals it has a reward.

Faithfulness is not faithfulness if its aborted or terminated. It can only be faithfulness when it overcomes all dread and fears and remain loyally firm in the face of imprisonment, hardship, fierce affliction, persecution and opposition even to the point of death. Faithfulness, like pure gold, is born out of the crucible of fire, and the stable of hard knocks. The degree of intensity of fire, equates the degree of its purity, beauty and stability. The crown of life which is worn only in eternity, is a symbol of the glorious life and a reward, which only the faithful and victorious are qualified for. Faithfulness is therefore optionally compulsory!

From the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, Psalms 61:2 ESV

Walking with God can lead to the waters or fire, valleys or mountains, meadows or deserts. Our text reveals this.

Living in the light of eternity is a journey of faith to eternity requiring much spiritual and physical strength. In this journey, times of despair, losing heart, becoming faint, hopeless, weak and overwhelmed must come, because His ways are not always ours. Since your attitude at such times spell your fate, utmost care is needed at such times. In every such case, there’s a safety rock and tower of strength where despair, fear and hopelessness disappears. While trusting Him, you must cry out to be mercifully led and taken to this safe place to experience victory!

PRAYERS: Have mercy on me O Lord according to your unfailing love, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

But God did not forget about Noah. God remembered him and all the animals that were with him in the boat. God made a wind blow over the earth, and all the water began to disappear. Genesis 8:1 ERV

Living in close habitual fellowship with God doesn’t eliminate seasons of seeming forgetfulness. Our text reveals this in Noah.

Beloved, in walking with God, seasons of seeming forgetfulness exists. No matter how close we walk with Him, we’ll still be mortals, and as mortals our scope of reasoning, vision and understanding will always be limited. This limitation makes us lose track of time, and when we do, a minute becomes like eternity to us, which makes us feel forgotten. Unfortunately, we’ll always lose track of time, because God never shows us the end until it comes. Whatever God does has to be in His time, once the right time comes it’ll sure happen. Therefore whoever is walking with Him must do so trustingly, because the wind is coming to dry up the waters of hindrance, limitation, sin, sickness, stagnation, and opposition surrounding you, but before then, you must keep walking with and waiting for God!

After Methuselah was born, Enoch walked with God for 300 years and had other sons and daughters. Genesis 5:22 ERV

Walking with God is living in close habitual fellowship with, God. Our text revealed this in Enoch.

Beloved, walking with God is being in true love for and steady fellowship with Him. Steady habitual fellowship with God is possible only under one condition, love for the Lord. Love for the Lord is spelt obedience, therefore walking with God is simply living in close, consistent, intimate, steady and unbroken obedience to Him. Getting to the point of oneness with Him, when there will be no more difference between your choice, desires, thoughts and actions and His. This takes lots of personal discipline to bring and train yourself to this height, but once attained your purpose for being on earth becomes accomplished, nothing remains impossible to you. Have you started and are you walking with God? At what level of your walk with God are you?

And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “ As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.” I Kings 17:1 NKJV

The presence of the Lord is the companionship of the Lord. Our text reveals

Beloved, the presence of the Lord is a game changer and guarantee for His power, promotion, protection and provision. His voice is heard and His Word received only in His presence. There’s no place like His presence because whatever you’ll ever need, grace, peace, healing, protection from the flood and schemes of darkness, restoration of whatever that’s stolen, expressions of His life, revelations of His power and might, victory over sin and sickness are in it. Whoever doesn’t dwell in His presence has lost His companionship and whoever loses His company have lost it all. Whatever you do never loose His presence!

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6 ESV

A God pleaser is anyone with whom God is well pleased. Our text reveals the only way this can be possible.

Beloved, pleasing God is not optional for anyone that desires His blessings. Pleasing Him is only possible through faith because it’s a tasking and sacrificial job; No one engages in a tasking and sacrificial job for whose existence he doesn’t believe. Believing in God’s existence is a difficult, impossible and unnatural task because He cannot be seen or touched. When you live the difficult, impossible and unnatural life, living by faith for God, then He’ll always do every difficult, impossible and unnatural task for you. When you learn to please the Lord in everything, then you’ll experience the Lord pleasing you in everything and every time!

But the elders and all the people said, “Don’t obey him or do what he says.” 1 Kings 20:8 ERV

Doing business with the devil is having a direct transaction with him or any of his lieutenants. Our text reveals one of such transactions.

Beloved, the concept of doing business with the devil though bizarre, is however inevitable for every person on earth. The only difference however is in the mode and nature of the business. The devil’s three fold mission remains to steal-kill-and-destroy, therefore whatever he does is to your detriment and disadvantage. Since the devil must be encountered in the Divine economy, the only way to do business with him is to listen to the voice of wisdom, not to obey him or do what he says. Until you learn to say no to whatever the devil offers, or says no matter how attractive it may seem or difficult your situation, you’re bound to have a disastrous transaction. You’ve all it takes to say no to the devil!
