A confession is a statement of a person’s belief which determines attitude. Our text reveals Peter’s confession and attitude.

Beloved, your belief spells your confession, your confession spells your attitude and experience, but your belief is spelt by your knowledge. Invariably without faith there’ll be no confession, and without confession there’ll be no salvation, because “with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”. Revelation which comes only from the Lord, gives birth to knowledge, knowledge to belief, belief to confession and confession to salvation. Whatever you know and believe Jesus Christ is, that’s only what He’ll be to you because that’s only what you’ll confess Him to be! What you confess Him to be will determine your attitude towards Him. Get a better revelation of Jesus Christ today!
