Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you._Hebrews 13:5

Have you ever been in a situation you needed help so badly, then a glimmer of hope showed up only to flicker away and dash your hopes to the rocks?
Joseph experienced a glimmer of hope for release from prison, which seemed to end badly and as suddenly as it had appeared. Scripture tells us that two of Pharaoh’s officers, having angered the king, were sent to the very prison where Joseph was held. One night both the cupbearer and baker were troubled by disturbing dreams. Joseph offered help, but not on his own. Notice Joseph’s continued faith in God through his words: “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams” (v. 8).
In turn each of the officers reported the details of his dream, and Joseph gave their meanings: in three days, the baker would be hanged and the cupbearer would be restored to Pharaoh’s court. Just as Joseph said, after three days the Pharaoh had the baker put to death but restored the cupbearer to his service. This was Joseph’s chance for release! His only request was for the cupbearer to tell the king about Joseph so that he might be freed from his wrongful imprisonment. The chapter ends, however, on a dejected note: “The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him”(v. 23).
Joseph may very well have felt that God, not just the cupbearer, had forgotten him too. Despite his continued profession of God’s presence in his life, his faithfulness in serving God, Joseph’s sorrowful circumstances remained. Others’ dreams were coming true, but what about the dreams of Joseph’s youth (Genesis 37)? Where was God and His promises of old? Had God forgotten? The ending of our chapter intentionally leaves us to ponder these questions.
Do we sometimes feel forgotten by God in the face of the brokenness of our world? Today’s chapter demonstrates that God’s hiddenness does not mean He is absent or forgetful of His people. Let your worship renew your trust in our God who does not forsake His people, even when we cannot always see His hand at work. Be rest assured God can never forsake you. He sure will come to your rescue and bring those dreams promises and prophecies to a reality, and that real fast!

The one who offers thanksgiving as His sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders His way rightly I will show the salvation of God!” Psalms 50:23 ESV

http://bible.com/59/psa.50.23.ESV
God’s salvation is His deliverance, peace, preservation, protection and provision. Our text reveals it’s the portion of  whoever orders his way rightly.
Beloved, God’s salvation is the desire of everyone, but unfortunately it eludes many. The only condition to evade it’s elusion is living rightly. You can only live rightly when you please the Lord, you can only please the Lord when you obey Him and you can only over Him when you live by faith. Whoever lives by faith honors and glorifies God by offering Him the sacrifice of praise in all circumstances. This displays your trust in Him, which propels Him to act on your behalf giving you the desired salvation. If you desire His salvation in any area of your life, declare and display your confidence and trust in Jesus today!

‘God never changes His mind about the people He calls. He never decides to take back the blessings He has given them.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭11:29ERV‬‬

http://bible.us/406/rom.11.29.erv
The phrase sealed and delivered usually signifies the completion of a transaction. Our text reveals God’s promises as sealed and delivered.
Beloved, God’s promises are in His plans and purposes, which has been delivered as a package to you. He never changes or backs out of them once made, therefore they’re described as sealed and delivered. However, until you open up a parcel, you cannot use it, until you use it, it cannot give satisfaction and until it gives satisfaction it’s as good as useless, because utilisation, not reception spells satisfaction. Everything you’ll ever need in life has been sealed and delivered to you in Jesus, it’s remaining your unboxing it through the Word and utilisation by faith to find satisfaction!

Then they came to Him bringing a paralytic, carried by four men. Mark 2:3 HCSB

http://bible.com/72/mrk.2.3.HCSB
Paralysis is an incurable disease hence a write off case. However our text reveals the curing of a paralytic.
Beloved, devil robbed, demobilized and rendered him useless and hopeless. Even the faith of his friends and attempt to bring him to Jesus met with frustration through the crowd. Knowing what they wanted, they refused to be frustrated, became more determined and desperate and did succeed. When you know what you want, you’ll resist every satanic attempt to demobilise, limit or stop you. When you refuse to be frustrated, but become more determined and even desperate, no matter the number of times you failed previously and how hopeless your case may seem, you’ll surely find yourself in Jesus’ presence. When you do, you’ll no longer be a write off, because there’s no hopelessness with  Jesus!

For Christ’s love impels us, since we have reached this conclusion: If One died for all, then all died. 2 Corinthians 5:14 HCSB

http://bible.com/72/2co.5.14.HCSB
To be impelled is to be actuated, controlled, and propelled by a very strong desire. Our text reveals the believer experiences this through Christ’s love.
Beloved, anyone in Christ is a slave of righteousness intoxicated and impelled by His love. Just as His love for the Father led Him obediently to the cross, whoever that’s impelled by His love, lives obediently and sacrificially to the Father. You cannot be impelled by His love until you taste it, and you cannot be compelled to taste His love. Your life will never be the same after tasting it, but it’ll be useless until it tastes and is impelled by His love. Every life impelled by His love becomes obedience freak and lacks nothing good. Are you ready for such radical change?

When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing before him with his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us, or for our adversaries?” Joshua 5:13 ESV

http://bible.com/59/jos.5.13.ESV
Since the Fall, life has been a series of battles marked with either victories or defeat depending on strategy and resources. Our text reveals the victory agent and resource of the believer.
Beloved, Joshua was victorious because he identified, aligned with the victory agent and used the strategy provided by God. He was able to identify the victory agent because he looked up. Looking up means trusting and appealing to God for help. There’s a victory agent and strategy for every battle in your life. Until you look up, you wont identify him, until you identify him, you wont align with him. Until you align with him, you wont know the strategy. Until you know the strategy, you wont use it, and until you use it, you wont know victory. It’s all your choice!

If we say we live in God, we must live the way Jesus lived. 1 John 2:6 ERV

http://bible.com/406/1jn.2.6.ERV
Living like Jesus is to think, speak and act like Jesus! Our text reveals living like Jesus is not optional for any who claims to belong to God.
Beloved a Christian is none other than a person who’s dead in himself but living in God. Anyone living in God cannot live in any other way apart from the way Jesus lived. Living like Jesus or in God is the only guarantee for victory and excellence on earth. Living in God is to breath, feed, drink, think and speak the Word. This invariably is to live by faith, because faith is a product of the Word. Living by faith is to live in righteousness and obedience to God. Only faith can guarantee your not drifting away from the right track when faced with inevitable very stiff oppositions!

And the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” And so the name of that place is called Gilgal to this day. Joshua 5:9 ESV

http://bible.com/59/jos.5.9.ESV
Slavery brings unnecessary shame, reproach and ridicule. Our text reveals Gilgal as the place of rolling away and removal of such.
Beloved, until the Jews got to Gilgal there was no circumcision, until they were circumcised, they were under a reproach, until the reproach was rolled away, they weren’t part of the Covenant community. Until they became part of this community, life was a drag and full of struggling, therefore they made little or no progress. You must get to your Gilgal to  have a Gilgal experience. You must have a Gilgal experience to get rid of your sins, shame and unnecessary weights, as well as be a part of the covenant community. You must become part of this covenant community to have a relationship with God. You must have this relationship to cease from struggling and experience real progress and promotion in life. Are you ready for your Gilgal experience?

Delight yourself in the Lord , and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalms 37:4 ESV

http://bible.com/59/psa.37.4.ESV
Heart desire is whatever you want or long for earnestly with deep passion. Our text reveals having this met, is very possible dependent on your relationship with the Lord.
Beloved, when you take pleasure in doing what the Lord wants, serving Him, and being happy with Him; He’ll take pleasure in doing whatever you want, because whatever you want will be in harmony with and very pleasing to Him. When He takes pleasure in doing what you want, then all your heart desires will be met and fulfilled. When all your desires are met, you’ll have unlimited  happiness! Do you have any unfulfilled dream or desire? Find out what the Lord said about it and take pleasure in doing it, then you’ll have whatever is your desire!

And when the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off from flowing, and the waters coming down from above shall stand in one heap.” Joshua 3:13 ESV

http://bible.com/59/jos.3.13.ESV
On the brink of entering the Promised Land stood River Jordan as an obstacle. Until it’s crossed there will be no possession. Our text reveals the priests did nothing but obediently stepped into the river and it miraculously was cut off.
Beloved, between you and every promise of God lies an obstacle. Ask Moses, Naaman, and others. Stepping into the obstacle says I trust You Lord to entrust my life into Your hands. Until you obediently step into it, it’ll not give way, until it gives way, you’ll not overcome it, and until you overcome it, you’ll be left outside your possession. Yours is to simply obey, even when you can’t fathom it, the miracle is the Lord’s to perform
