For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1 ESV

The absence of coercion or constraint in choice or action is freedom. Usually, it’s never lost without consent, except when overpowered. Our text reveals freedom as an inheritance of the believer in Christ, which must be jealously guarded and never relinquished.
Beloved, your position in Christ gave you the causative power that produces resultant effects. Since you cannot be overpowered, therefore loosing your freedom is only by choice. Until your freedom is directly or indirectly lost, you cannot become a slave to sin, sickness, sorrow or suffering. Until you’re a slave, you can have whatever you want. Remember, your freedom can only be kept, experienced and enjoyed by faith working through love, which keeps you in obedience to Christ!
Grace upon grace!
