READ: MARK 14:12-26

…and wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?’ Mark 14:14 ESV

The guest room is usually a room for visitors. But a guest can become so used to a particular room, or have knowledge of a reservation he’ll refer to it as my guest room.
Our text reveals Jesus speaking about “My guest room” showing it has been reserved for Him by the house owner. The house owner knew Jesus had no house, keeps travelling from place to place, will need a room one day, did dedicate his guest room to Jesus pending when He’ll need it. His life never remained the same after hosting Jesus, because no life ever does.
Beloved, you have a guest room, which is your heart. The occupant, which can be the Master or the devil determines your state and destiny. Jesus is longing to be your guest, and only you can determine who to host. Like Matthew, Mark’s mother and this house owner, your destiny can never remain the same after hosting Jesus. Therefore open up your heart to Him right away!
Grace upon grace!
