UNFAILING PROMISE!

READ: DEUTERONOMY 31:1-8

Be strong and be brave. Don’t be afraid of those people because the Lord your God is with you. He will not fail you or leave you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 ERV

http://bible.com/406/deu.31.6.ERV
One of the commonest feature of this age is truce breaking, unfaithfulness and unreliability, breaking of promises and even covenant with every impunity. Contrarily, our text reveals the faithfulness and reliableness of the God of Israel in the statement which Moses made He will not fail or leave you. Jesus made same promise to His disciples, “I’m with you always even to the end of ages”.
Beloved, the ever faithful and unfailing God has promised His presence. In His nature He’ll never fail or leave you, but you can leave Him, ironically He won’t stop you. His presence does not spell absence of challenges, oppositions, trials and troubles but victory in the midst of them. You don’t need to be afraid, but strong, brave, obedient and stick to Him, in the midst of the challenges, until He overcomes them for you. Your victory is guaranteed!

WHEN FAVOR SPEAKS! II

READ: EXODUS 12:28-36

And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. Thus they plundered the Egyptians. Exodus 12:36 ESV

http://bible.com/59/exo.12.36.ESV
When favor speaks protocols are suspended, the impossible becomes possible, everything simply synchronises and harmonises. Silver and gold are the two most valuable and precious metals and possessions of anyone, therefore they are very rarely parted with. Our text reveals because the Israelites positioned themselves on the path of favor at the right time, it was activated and spoke for them. The result, the Egyptians did what naturally they wouldn’t have done, gave out their gold!
Beloved, like we established in the first part of this message, God is the Owner and Bestower of favor. If you believe Him, position yourself on the path of His favor [position yourself in Christ], and remain obedient to Him, you’ll never know any impossibility, as His favour will ceaselessly speak permissions, protections provisions and protocols negation for you!

READ: NEHEMIAH 2:1-10

The king and the queen who was sitting next to him asked me, “How long will your trip take? When will you get back here?” The king was happy to send me, so I gave him a certain time. Nehemiah 2:6 ERV

http://bible.com/406/neh.2.6.ERV
Favor is unmerited but must be activated and accessed. Favor rests upon whoever is found on its path. Our text reveals favor speaking on behalf of Nehemiah who positioned himself on its path with his integrity. A slave, asked and received an unimaginable and uncommon favor, a permission, protection and provision to rebuild his city!
Beloved, God not only delights in showing but has actually showered you with uncommon favor. However, you must activate and access it, get favor speak on your behalf, with your integrity, which is positioning yourself on the path of His favor, in Christ Jesus. When His favor speaks on your behalf, it will cause all protocols to be dropped and bring all the permissions, protections and provisions you’ll ever need to experience a destiny and dream fulfillment!

OBEDIENT FAITH!

READ: EXODUS 12: 14-25

At the time the Lord goes through Egypt to kill the firstborn, He will see the blood on the sides and top of each doorframe. Then he will protect that house and not let the Destroyer come into any of your houses and hurt you. Exodus 12:23 ERV

http://bible.com/406/exo.12.23.ERV
The fruit of obedient faith is it’s reward. This reward is what accesses the ever present grace of God. Our test reveals all Jewish firstborn saved from destruction simply because of their four step obedient faith- kept away from leaven, killed the Passover lamb, applied the blood on the door posts and lintel as well as remained in the house. A negligence of any of these steps would have been disastrous!
Beloved, there’s always a grace provision for whatever situation you are in or will ever find yourself in. There are also specific instructions and directions to activate it. Your obedient faith to the sometimes senseless and ridiculous divine instructions will always activate and grant you His salvation and a fulfilled dream at the right time. These simple instructions are not hidden, but very clear, therefore study the Word to see them!

GOD’S TEAMMATE!

READ: PSALM 118:1-17

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? Psalms 118:6 ESV

http://bible.com/59/psa.118.6.ESV
A teammate is a partner, or anyone who has aligned with you for a goal or purpose. Our text reveals the Psalmist boasting about his security because he has God as a teammate. “The Lord is with me, so I will not be afraid. No one on earth can do anything to harm me. The Lord is my Helper. I will see my enemies defeated”.
Beloved, notice that partnership with God doesn’t eliminate enemies, challenges and oppositions, but guarantees victory over all of them. Even when it seems the enemy is triumphing, all you need is to trust and keep trusting the Lord. Your hope against hope and faith against faith will cause Him to surely raise His strong and mighty arm and give you the victory.

MY GUEST ROOM!

READ: MARK 14:12-26

…and wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?’ Mark 14:14 ESV

http://bible.com/59/mrk.14.14.ESV
The guest room is usually a room for visitors. But a guest can become so used to a particular room, or have knowledge of a reservation he’ll refer to it as my guest room.
Our text reveals Jesus speaking about “My guest room” showing it has been reserved for Him by the house owner. The house owner knew Jesus had no house, keeps travelling from place to place, will need a room one day, did dedicate his guest room to Jesus pending when He’ll need it. His life never remained the same after hosting Jesus, because no life ever does.
Beloved, you have a guest room, which is your heart. The occupant, which can be the Master or the devil determines your state and destiny. Jesus is longing to be your guest, and only you can determine who to host. Like Matthew, Mark’s mother and this house owner, your destiny can never remain the same after hosting Jesus. Therefore open up your heart to Him right away!

BEAUTY OF HOLINESS!

READ: 96:1-13

Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth! Psalms 96:9 ESV

http://bible.com/59/psa.96.9.ESV

The Lord must be worshipped. The only acceptable mode is in the beauty and splendor of His holiness.

Our text reveals worshipping the Lord in the beauty and splendor of holiness is to declare His salvation from day to day, His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples, and give Him great praise and honor in majesty, with attendant sacrifices that before Him. This the Psalmist exhorts his audience to do! Moses told the Israelites  never to sacrifice to the Lord your God any bull or sheep that has a blemish or any defect. Jesus calls this “worship in spirit and in truth”. In other words the only acceptable  garment for anyone who desires to worship the Lord to wear is the garment or clothing of Holiness!

Beloved, examine yourself and your worship of God; Does your worship of God fit into the above frame? In what ways are you sacrificing to the Lord your God in worship bulls or sheep that has a blemish or any defect or things that are detestable? In what ways are you not worshipping Him in spirit and in truth? In what ways do you fail to give Him the glory that’s His due? This calls for some serious examination and repentance for everything you do will be in vain, futile and fruitless if otherwise!

THE FINGER OF GOD!

READ: EXODUS 8:1-19

“This is the finger of God!” the magicians exclaimed to Pharaoh. But Pharaoh’s heart remained hard. He wouldn’t listen to them, just as the Lord had predicted. Exodus 8:19 NLT

http://bible.com/116/exo.8.19.NLT

The finger of God is a reference to and description of the power of God. It’s an acknowledgement of power beyond human imagination, comprehension and explanation.
Our text reveals the satanic custodians of power of Egypt, the enemies of the chosen people, acknowledging only God can do this after failing to replicate the plague of lice. All three signs before now to prove He’s God were caricatured and rubbished by the satanic agents. But God with this sign proved Himself God and Lord!
Beloved, your story may seem like that of the Israelites in Egypt. You may have found yourself in one form of captivity or siege, under one burden of sin or sickness, you may be experiencing no progress or advancement, laboring like an elephant and eating like an ant! You have been crying out to God to save and deliver you, and It seems even when the salvation came, it was met with very stiff satanic oppositions,  because the strongman never easily lets go his captives. This is the word of the Lord to you, like Moses and the Israelites hold your peace and faith, in a very short time, the Lord will do a miraculous thing the devil and his agents will be forced acknowledge “this is the finger of God” and bow before you. Hear this, you’ll be found in the Promised Land, free from captivity very soon if only you will believe!
Grace upon grace!
